Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
OpenHTML does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal data. We have no servers that receive your information, because the app does not send any.
Documents you open stay on your device. OpenHTML keeps private copies of recent documents inside the app so you can reopen them. These copies are never uploaded, and the original file is never modified. You can remove a document from Recents at any time, and deleting the app deletes the copies.
OpenHTML contains no analytics or advertising software, requires no account, and does not track you across apps or websites.
By default, OpenHTML blocks JavaScript and online resources in the documents you open. If you choose to allow online resources for a document, that document may load fonts, images or other content from the internet, the way any web page does, and the servers it contacts will see your request. This happens only when you turn it on, only for the current viewing session, and is controlled by the document, not by OpenHTML. Links in documents open in your default browser only after you confirm.
OpenHTML collects no information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
