AI made the HTML. OpenHTML simply opens it.

Support

OpenHTML is a private HTML document viewer for iPhone, iPad and Mac. If something is not working, or you have an idea, write to 1haigc@gmail.com. Please include your device, your OS version and, if you can, a description of the file that misbehaves. Do not attach documents that contain private information.

Common questions

How do I open an HTML file?

On iPhone and iPad, tap a file in Files, Mail, Messages or Downloads and choose OpenHTML, or use the share sheet. You can also tap Open inside the app. On Mac, use Open With in Finder, drag a file onto the window, or choose File, then Open.

Why does my document look unstyled, or show a missing fonts message?

Private Viewing blocks online resources by default. If the document loads fonts, styles or images from the internet, open Document Controls and choose Allow Online Resources for that session. If it links to local files next to it, choose the containing folder when OpenHTML asks, so it can copy them with the document.

Why do the buttons and charts in my document not respond?

JavaScript is off by default. Open Document Controls and enable JavaScript for the current session, but only for documents you trust.

Can OpenHTML change my file?

No. The original file is never modified. Recent documents are private copies stored inside the app.

Does OpenHTML collect my data?

No. There is no account, advertising, analytics or tracking, and your documents are never uploaded. See the Privacy Policy.

Can I print or export a document?

Yes. Use the share and print options to print, export to PDF, or share the original file.

Which systems are supported?

iOS and iPadOS 17 or later, and macOS 14 or later. One purchase covers all three.
